Before submitting an online application for the Jharkhand TET (JTET) in 2024, any candidate interested in doing so should confirm their eligibility, review the age restriction, and read the entire notification. The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) Exam 2024 has been made available by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) in Ranchi. Candidates interested in this JHTET 2024 Primary and Junior Level Exam can Apply Online from 23/07/2024 to 22/08/2024.

Application Fee
- Only for Paper I or Paper II
- SC / ST: 700/-

Eligibility
For Primary Level :
- 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed).
- 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.), by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
- The requirements are passing/appearing in the final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program (B.El.Ed.) and earning at least 50% in 10+2 Intermediate Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
- A least of 50% in Intermediate 10+2 Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passing or appearing in the last year of a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) are requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./DELED).
For Junior Level :
- Having completed or been in the last year of a two-year diploma program in elementary education (B.T.C./D.El.Ed.) and holding a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent).
- Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri (Regular).
- According to the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, which are periodically released in this regard, a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and passing or appearing in the last year of a bachelor’s degree in education (B.Ed/L.T./Shiksha Shastri (Regular)) are prerequisites.
- A minimum of 50% in 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passing or appearing in the last year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) program are required.
- 10+2 Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of the possible points, passed, or planned to appear in the last year of a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. program.
- A bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of the possible points, passed the B.Ed. (Special Education) final year, or be enrolled in it.
